can it be hard wired? I have a dedicated light switch
Harry L on Aug 10, 2020
BEST ANSWER: This is a plug-in picture light and not designed to be hardwired. But, I have added a link below to other hardwired picture lights that you may like.

What’s the details of the mounting bracket?
Mike C on Jul 10, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Check out the reviews section to see how it is hooked to the wall.
Where is the transformer? I have an older one of your lights (halogen) and when I ordered a replacement halogen recently, the transformer was smaller and flat and went on back of picture but didn’t fit my frame.
Jody N on Mar 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The transformer is at the end of the electric cord, where the light is plugged into the wall.
is this a warm white or cool white light?
A shopper on Jul 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: i would call it a cool, white light. not harsh, bright white. not warm. a cool, NEUTRAL white for showcasing art
without affecting the colors.
What color is the cord? Is it thin?
A shopper on Jul 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The court is white. I would've much preferred a darker color but I can hide most of it so it is still acceptable. The cord is about the same thickness as a small table lamps. Again it works for me because I can hide it. I hope this was helpful. Bob

Looks good, but cheaply made
It's ok. Pretty cheaply made for 105 dollars. It takes a bit of tweaking to look straight and plumb. I ended up cutting the cord and hard wiring it, which is working just fine.

Once installed it looks great.

Perfect for what I needed
Great picture light at a great price. I was able to attach it to the frame of the painting. It is adjustable height wise and you can adjust the angle of the light. I was very pleased with this purchase. Also like that it is LED.

Switch broke
The light was bit too cold/fluorescent for the art piece I purchased it for but worked for a blue/green piece instead. I would have given it 3 stars but for no reason, the switch connection became unstable after a few months and I have to wiggle it and walk away slowly to not lose power to this light. Very annoying

The plug is actually very large and does not fit in a recessed plug outlet

Love the look!
Love the look of the light. Have the chord coming straight down from the large picture and disappearing behind my sofa so only a couple of inches show. I mounted the switch on the wall behind the sofa with some clear double stick like tape. (that should have been included) the Allen wrench that was provided to tighten the bar was a little too large so didn’t quite tighten it enough. I have it over a large picture so it could have been a few inches longer? Didn’t want to buy two to put together. Over all I love how it accents my new painting!
