How many inches is it from where the button screws onto the backplate down to the bottom of the fixture? My space is limited due to a mantle. Thanks you!

BEST ANSWER: Hi SUZANNE,
This sconce is wall mounted so there is no on/off switch on the fixture. It is wired like you would a ceiling mounted fixture (but instead of being on the ceiling, it is placed on the walls) so then your on/off switch will be wherever the switch is placed that the wall sconce is wired to. Let me know if that helps!
Can this sconce be used outdoors under porch (covered)?

BEST ANSWER: No these are not directional. You can use these in pairs without regard for left or right. Or even in a line successively, such as down a hallway. I would recommend using the old fashion looking LED filiment bulbs in either amber to set a beautiful mood or in 2700K for incandescent looking light. 5000K will look ridiculously like a shopping center light over a parking lot or office lighting. Good luck. Fixture is beautiful.

A Perfect Choice! Radiant Look!
I have a beautiful painting of Venice, Italy. I have been searching for the perfect pair of sconces for either side of this painting. I bought some, took them back. I found what I was looking for at Lamps Plus. I love the amber art glass, the projection of light against the picture and the wall. The picture shows the island of Murano so it reminds me of the beautiful handcrafted art you find there. Excellent price!

Beautiful stylish Sconces!
I love lamps from this Gorgesous collection! I have 1 largest chandelier (66491 - Amber Scroll 35 1/2" Wide 6 Light Art Chandelier) in my Dining Room; 2 smaller chandeliers (66471 - Amber Scroll 31 1/2" Wide 6 Light Art Chandelier) in my Family room; pendants (66225 - Amber Scroll 6" Wide Art Glass Mini Pendant) in my kitchen.

I've used these beautiful sconces in 2 places: 1/2 Bathroom as well as Family Room (built stone wall around fireplace). I am hoping to later attach pictures of Family Room as well (when I am finished).

In the bathroom I've used these sconces together with Ceiling Light from the same collection (11792 - Amber Scroll Art Glass 20 1/4" Wide Ceiling Light). I've used similar glass tile on the walls, which brings even more light and beauty to the lights.

Beautiful
In a million years this light would not be me, I took a chance, bought six of them two for side of fireplace two each for two sets of stairways and an overhead to put at the top of the upstairs for a large hall. Received so many complements, and best yet my designer loved them.

Also our sales person Dahlia was awesome.

Beautiful style and great value!
I replaced some brass sconces with these. They are nice because they are a mix of modern and old style. The tie my rooms together nicely.

So pretty and so reasonably priced!
I used two of these sconces, one on either side of a long mirror in my entryway. They complete the look perfectly. Just note that these are not "mirror images." Because the individual back plate is designed higher on the left than on the right, with two sconces at the same level you do get an illusion of them not being evenly mounted. I solved the problem by loosening the globe on one so that the "high point" on the globe was on the outside on both sconces.
