BEST ANSWER: Hi - This is not damp rated. But if you still intend to use it in your bathroom, it is highly recommended to have good ventilation.

BEST ANSWER: It comes with a metal mounting bracket that you fasten to the wall with two screws. This was my favorite wall lamp of all time. With the adjustable dimmer knob built in makes its perfect for differing your lighting needs. I had one next to a large painting that it illuminated perfectly at night. My daughter took it with her after I sold my old house and now has it above her couch.
Does metal shade get hot when light has been on awhile?

BEST ANSWER: It does not come with a metal shade. If you use led or cell bulbs they are not hot. Any shade can get hot too close to an incandescent bulb.
How does the shade attach? I'd like to replace it with a larger rectangular one. Is it a standard harp frame? Or the kind that screws onto the bulb base? Thanks!

I. Love. These. Wall. Lamps!!!
I simply love these wall lamps. I needed some light on one side of my living room, but did not want to do a floor lamp, as I have one elsewhere in the room. I found these and they are perfect! They are beautiful quality, can be dimmed, go beautifully with my decor, and were so reasonably priced. I bought cord covers and painted them the wall cover. Am so pleased with my purchase!

Beautiful Wall Sconce
We wanted some brass sconces for by our bed for reading at night. These are perfect--look just like advertised. We also got the chord covers. Arrived on time. My husband and I installed--easy if two people installing. Here is a photo to show!

Perfect Wall Light, classic
This wall lamp is the perfect size and design for a classic look in and of itself which also highlights artwork at night. Having a dimmer knob built in is a rare feature that allows for the changing lighting of the day and night. For it's features, construction and appearance the price is below anything even close to it's value.

Beautiful and Functional
I bought two, one for each side of the bed. The switch/knob on the backplate is a must, and this light is dimmable, so it's easy on the eyes when turned low. Was super easy to mount to wall. I've had wall mount plug-in sconces before but these are the most beautiful! Would absolutely, positively buy again!
