Great, Then Not So Much
I bought this chair about 3 years ago. After 1 year the screws were falling out of that bottom circle. We were able to screw back in. But now it is getting loose and wobbly fairly often. No one who sits in it weighs more than 165 lbs. I haven't asked about a warranty yet. Also, the material is showing slight cracking on the arm rests in particular. For this price I would expect it to wear better. Otherwise, it is handsome and looked great for the first year.

Beautiful; has pros and cons.
We've had the chair for a week. There are pros and cons for this chair. On the plus side:
1) This is the best looking, most visually light recliner that I've seen, and I looked in other stores at some very expensive European-made models. It's quite compact without feeling compact.
2) The recline has infinite position adjustment, which is SO MUCH nicer than having only two positions. It's really great.
3) It is not tippy at all. The chair weighs around 80 pounds, so it's also possible to move it on hardwoods. It's right at the sweet spot of weight vs. movability. That was important to us.
3) It's manual, which is what we wanted, since we didn't want to deal with a cord or a battery pack. Also, electric recliners are SO SLOW to get out of. We're all able to easily use our legs to pull in the leg rest. Granted, the adults are in our 50s, my kid is a teen, and none of us are disabled, so YMMV.
4) The swivel, leg rest and recline mechanisms seem to work very well, although it's early days.
5) The leg rest is fully covered, with no gaps. If you're tall your feet might hang off it a bit. We don't mind this, because we prefer a sleek, tucked under leg rest. If it were longer, it wouldn't fit underneath. As long as my calves are supported, I'm good.
6) While it's not as comfortable as the $4,000 models we sat in, we've all started fighting over it, so, it's certainly comfortable enough! I don't think it's an orthopedic chair as such. If you have back issues, you may want a thin lumbar pillow.
7) The headrest is tall enough to work for my 6 ft husband without extending it.
Cons:
1) It was delivered with a defective head rest. That said, when I sent the pictures to Lamps Plus, they quickly sent out another one. You can trust Lamps Plus, I'm happy to say! I'd never ordered from here before.
2) I'm concerned about the faux leather, which generally lasts no more than 3-5 years. I would have gladly paid up to $1,600 for a higher quality upholstery and ring mechanism (see below) (Benchmaster, are you listening?). The 3-4 thousand European manufacturers charge was beyond us. I didn't buy this until I found a service near us that professionally repairs faux leather for when the upholstery inevitably wears. You probably have a service like that near you, because it's apparently common for cars and doctors offices. In my city, they come to you. I figure we'll probably get an extra 2 or 3 years out of the chair that way. Note: as of this writing in Jan 2023, the chair is made out of faux leather, NOT bonded leather. Bonded leather has the least durability. Faux leather is much preferable to bonded, though clearly not as durable (or as expensive) as full grain leather. I looked for faux leather conditioners to extend it's life, but it's very tricky to find the right one, and there's a LOT of bad advice online on what does and doesn't work. If you put the wrong conditioning product on it and it damages the plasticizers in the upholstery . . . yikes. My best guess is that this is Polyurethane upholstery, not PVC, since there is no odor at all. But I can't be sure.
3) I was hoping to be able to re-upholster the chair eventually in full grain leather, because it's genuinely the perfect size and shape for our space. But the reviewer who said the swivel ring on the bottom is plastic is correct. This really makes me doubt the overall longevity of the whole piece.
4) The plastic ring has no rubber or cushion on the bottom, so it scratched our hardwood floor. If you have it on hardwood, put some felt on the bottom right away.
Ultimately, I put it at 4 stars. I think it's a good chair at an achievable price. I'm just not confident it'll last very long, and I would really prefer to buy things once and take care of them. Still, it is really perfect for our space. We'll enjoy it while we can.

Nice looking chair!
First off, I'm pretty particular so 4 stars is a real "win" for me. I searched and searched for a different chair for myself to use in our living room. I was originally going for an Ekornes Stressless chair and ottoman set, but decided to try a reclining option instead. I had alot of trouble finding a Stressless that fit me well and was comfortable. They were all super low to the ground and not very deep under my knees (and I'm a small woman). I also needed this to have a Scandinavian flair to it in order to match my other furniture. At first, I wasn't wild that it was faux leather, but the photos in other reviews looked like the chair was a decent quality faux leather and didn't have that fake look. So I took a chance and ordered it, and I'm very happy with the purchase. I would not recommend this for a larger person - as I said, I'm small and it's JUST fits my frame (sometimes the width can even feel a bit small for me, but it's not a deal breaker). It's firm, but comfortable, modern but not weird-modern, sophisticated but inviting, and overall estethically pleasing. The headrest can adjust easily up and down, the footrest reclines independently of the backrest, the backrest is released by a "loop" between the seat and armrest so you can recline the back or not whenever the footrest is up. It also swivels very easily when you give it a push. A couple of picky notes are that the wood color is a little drab - very "brown" without much warmth or pop to it. Also, the front view of the bottom half of the chair seems quite a bit more "rounded" and prominent than it looked in the photos (my mind kind of went to an RV swivel chair look....again, not dealbreakers but just an fyi. Also, I felt the $860 price tag was on the high side for faux leather, but I'll chalk that up to inflation.
Again, overall this was 98% of what this picky lady was looking for, so I'm happy.

Swivel recliner
The Taupe color goes with pretty much everything.
We can watch TV or look out over the Las Trampas Hills.
The swivel recliner is a comfortable chair to relax in.
Very sturdy

I absolutely love the looks of this chair. It is stylish and contemporary, unlike most recliners. It's also a great size for a smaller area. However, it is VERY firm, to the point of being uncomfortable if I want to sit there and read or watch TV for a few hours. I even tried using a seat cushion, to no avail. It needs to come out quite a ways from the wall to recline, and the footrest does not come up high enough. I'm heartbroken, because I love the looks. But it's just not comfortable.

creaky chair
We purchased this chair and it moans and groans if you even move it slightly and really makes noise if you sit in it. We had purchase 2 of these chairs before an one peeled on the had rest and the other one seems to be fine.
Wouldn't buy again.

Lovely and comfortable chair
We took a chance on this chair because no stores locally had it for us to try it out, so we had to order on line. The sales person in the Scottsdale store was super helpful and honored a previous sale price. The chair is supportive and comfortable and goes so nicely with our decor and color scheme. It rotates too! My husband likes it and he's picky. It's firmer so if you're looking for something squishy this is not the chair for you.

Everything I was looking for
Right color, size, easy to operate, only hard thing about putting it together was the weight of the bottom section-had to have my daughters help getting it out of the box, very easy to put together other wise.

Great chair/ Recliner. Took one star off, for assembly required and
Swivel drags and doesn't work, on low pile carpet.
I like the unique look of the chair. It is comfortable to sit and each of the other 3 reclining positions. Head and neck well supported The materials (faux leather and wood) looked great. Unfortunately, I wanted a smooth easy swivel which it did not... and for me that was a deal breaker for me. I'm 5'4 with long legs. I think it be good for sitting if you are taller. It was a little awkward pulling on the interior pull, each time you wanted to move between positions, but I think you would adjust over time

It was easy to assemble and comfortable. The wood frame is not the same color as photo. Great style for non bulky recliner.
