how to secured it in heavy wind or thunderstorm? I just have mine installed (5 feet from ceiling) now I am wondering.

BEST ANSWER: Our home faces South, West direction and the Bellagio hanging lantern barely moves in very heavy winds and thunderstorms. They are lovely and we have had many compliments on them. We have two on our front porch.
I currently have an ugly recessed light at my entry. Does this lamp require that I purchase a recessed light conversion kit?

Is this light #49290 g completely style closed up so dust can not get inside where the bulb Is?

BEST ANSWER: It has gaskets but as far as being completely “dust tight” I am not sure...it should be in the specification sheet whether it is or not

BEST ANSWER: This product is Damp Location rated and should not rust. It is not made for direct water exposure which would be called Wet Rated. This is to be used in a covered area and approved for dampness.

BEST ANSWER: To replace the bulbs the bottom glass cap needs to be removed. The cap is held by two decorative nuts locates on the side of the light.

I have been looking for a porch light to match the lights on my two columns in front of my house. I could not find one that matched anywhere that was affordable.
