BEST ANSWER: The post mount adapter at the top measures 3” wide.
This mount collar rises one inch from the base, and is short 1/2 inch short to acceptthe pre drilled holes for the Everstone 21 3/4 outdoor post light. Is there an extention adapter to raise the collare of the pier mount to meet the pre drilled holes in the base of the Everstone which is 1 1/4 inch from its base.?

Excellent adapter for 6x6 post.
Best used with strong deck screws as the supplied screws tend to break off or strip out. We used these to mount post top lights on 6x6 posts that actually measure around 5.5" square. Also mounted two of these in mortar atop concrete and stone pillars and sttached the post mount lights to them. Wires ran through conduit and then out the top of these mounts.

Pros: Attractive Design, Weather Resistant

Cons: Supplied screws are weak

Best Uses: Pillar top mounted lights, Front Yard, Back Yard, Deck mounted lights

Paintable, thank goodness.
While competitors offer this same product in White (at a slightly higher cost), this retailer unfortunately does not. The good thing is that it takes well to Rustoleum spray paint.

Pros: Attractive Design, Weather Resistant

Cons: Not available in White, Difficult To Install
