Buy it, it's worth the price and the look is luxurious!
I love these lamps for above my headboard! They are the perfect size for a king sized bed. You get more than what you pay for. They look luxurious and put off great light. I used an [...] LED light and it fit perfectly. The only downside is maybe the length of the cord. Because it was so high on my wall, the cord was slanted instead of hanging straight down. No biggy, an extension cord can't fix. PERFECT!

Just what I was looking for...
Love these lights. They dress up my new feature wall in my bedroom. Good quality, plenty of light for reading. Highly recommend if you are looking for a wall lamp.

Pretty, but mounting is sub-par
Man, these lamps are pretty and functional, but the install/mounting situation is really bad. At first it seems like it should be very simple: pick your placement, screw the mounting plate to the wall, put the lamp onto the mounting plate, then secure lamp to mounting plate with mounting bolts/balls. The main problem? When the mounting bolts/balls are completely tightened onto the screws, there is a gap between the mounting bolts/balls and the lamp, which means that the mounting bolts/balls are not actually performing their function. Instead, the lamps is allowed to droop downwards, and hang against the mounting plate. It's like there is meant to be a washer included, but they didn't give them to you. After installing one lamp and realizing that this was happening, I went to remove the lamp so that I could return it, only to find that one of the mounting screws (which is held on to the mounting plate with a small nut) was now loose on the inside, and spinning in place, preventing me from being able to remove the mounting bolt/ball. In other words, I actually can not remove the lamp now without getting a hacksaw out and cutting off the mounting bolt/ball that is attached to the mounting screw that is spinning inside. After much frustration and deliberation, I realized I was better off conceding defeat to the lamp and just left it hanging there, drooping slightly, knowing that one day in the future the hacksaw will need to come into play.
My wife says "you get what you pay for," since these are a bit cheaper than what you can find elsewhere. But I say, no -- there is no excuse for improper mounting design on a product like this that is meant to be mounted securely on a wall. Period. Tack on that the finish is easily scratched (I scratched the face of the lamp while trying to deal with the malfunctioning mounting bolt/ball), and that the mounting anchors are extremely cheap and flimsy (one of them did not create enough grip on the drywall and just spun when trying to insert the screw -- yes, I used the appropriate bit size when drilling the hole), and I believe you have more than entered the 2-star territory. The only reason why I'm not going down to 1 star is because they are damn pretty, and Lamps Plus was nice enough to replace one of the lamps that arrived in the box completely scratched up. However, while they did make good on a scratched up lamp, the design itself is horrendous and I would never recommend this lamp to anyone without making sure they realized what they were getting into. It's a shame, really.

Great lamps, okay mounting bolts
The lamps themselves are beautiful and do their function as ambient lighting in the bedroom. They take standard LED bulbs and provide enough lighting in the space for reading. They look much more expensive than they look.
The minor issue I had were the mounting bolts/balls as described by others, but take a bit more adjustment than expected.

A classic and affordable mid-century lighting option.
These were exactly as I imagined them. The adjustment mechanism is a bit tricky and I wish there was a little more flexibility in the lamp direction, but they absolutely fit the bill for me.
