BEST ANSWER: Metal of some kind that looks a bit hammered. It’s a nice light fixture. We used it on our house covered patio.

how do you open to change the bulbs?

BEST ANSWER: The base is mounted on the ceiling with screws, and the “hatbox” shaped part has a bayonet mount to the base. Do you carefully push up and twist to remove it. You don’t have to remove glass panes to change bulbs. Hope this helps.
What does the top interior of the lamp look like? I am asking because of the review that stated "you can see its interior."

BEST ANSWER: The ceiling light looks exactly as shown in the online pictures. The seeded glass obscure the inside of the fixture.
What size led bulbs can I use with this fixture?

BEST ANSWER: The manufacturer recommends using A15 size bulbs with this ceiling light. I have added an LED A15 size bulb option below you may use.

Glass is too transparent and can see all items of its interior.
It should be much more opaque.
