Let There be Light!
I can see clearly now. The back yard used to be dark and ominous. we bought 3 of these puppies, put each on their own dimmer switch so we could light up the bar and food area, and then indulge in low-light intimate conversations. They work perfectly although 3 are slightly overkill. The back area is only about 500 sq.ft., but the dimmer switches work wonders.

And the price was right, to boot!

On another note, one lamp arrived cracked. I had lost my receipt, but Lamps Plus has exemplary customer service and it was promptly replaced and another receipt printed out.

Pros: Area Of Illumination, Easy To Change Bulb, Attractive Design, Weather Resistant, I Can See Clearly Now

I placed the light in my rose garden where it illuminates the garden and a nearby set of paver stairs. It fits there perfectly and has withstood several wind and rain storms. I placed a florescent bulb to reduce the energy usage of a 60 watt and works beautifully inside the frosted glass.

Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Change Bulb, Weather Resistant, Area Of Illumination

Best Uses: Front Yard, Walkway, Gardens

Worth the price
This lamp has a very nice finish and was easy to install. However, when installing this lamp onto the base, over tightening one of the screws by half a turn caused the casting to crack. This has not affected the performance after 6 months outside through several rainstorms.

Pros: Attractive Design, Weather Resistant

Cons: Poor quality casting

Best Uses: Front Yard, Walkway

Great looking postlight
This postlight looks terrific and the opaque glass is great because it hides the bulb that you use, which means you can use an unattractive CFL or LED bulb. If you use a color-changing wifi LED bulb, the whole glass area lights up with the color, which is really nice and fun at holiday times.

what a showcase
these lamps look awsome. I used 4 of them in the front yard with low voltage lightbulbs and they compliment the hardscape and landscape just perfect.

Perfect for our seat wall
We put these on the columns at the sides of our seat wall that surrounds our backyard patio. We needed some additional lighing on the patio and they look fantastic and were a GREAT price. They are plenty bright and we added a dimmer switch to control the light level. The frosted glass is perfect as these are at eye level and the bulbs don't glare through the frosted glass.

Pros: Area Of Illumination, Attractive Design
