is the sculpture hollow? Can it be drilled from the top of the head to the base? I want to use it to make a lamp. Thank you in advance!

BEST ANSWER: Per the manufacturer, it is not recommended to use a drill with this statue or modify it in any way. Making such modifications or conversions voids all warranties and returns.
It looks like there are highlights. Do you have it without the highlights?

No need for the black marker accents
I like the statue but found the the fact that black marker was used to accent spots on the statue made it look cheap. I repainted the statue to cover up the black maker highlight and it looks much better. Would have given more stars if not for the use of the cheap black marker.

Love it!
Very chic and expensive looking! Has some black markings throughout to give it a somewhat antique look. I love it but if not you could easily paint over them and they would't be noticed. Either way it's well worth it for the price!

Disappointment, frustration, anger, and sprrow. I was so looking forward to this piece...twice!
Got mine and it too had all these black markings all over it that made it look dirty more than anything, plus it was dirty! It looked as it had been a floor model sitting out for a couple of years. I insisted on a replacement, got it today and the exact same thing happened! I'm sorry, I just can not shop here again. It would have been a nice piece had it not been for all the black scribbles all over it ...and the dust!
