This elegant crystal ceiling fan light kit is a universal light kit designed to fit most ceiling fans. In a chrome finish with rows of crystal balls and diamond shaped beads that cascade down. Requires an add-on wall or hand held remote control for light operation.

BEST ANSWER: The balls come individually wrapped, and hooks are included. You just insert the hook into the holes on the frame, and bend the hooks to keep them from falling. I’ve had my light for a while and the crystals are very secure.

Can the halogen bulbs be replaced with LED equivalents?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, you could replace the bulbs with G9 based LED bulbs. However, when using the hand held remote or wall control, the dimmer may not function properly because they are not rated for use with LED's. Several customers state that it dims perfectly and others say there is a slight humming noise. However, if you plan on simply using the light as an on/off operation, then it will work!
I have a hard time imagining what it looks like with the fan. Is the fan inside the crystals? Above? Below? Can you share some more what this looks like, maybe photos (and I'm aware that it depends on the particular fan)?

BEST ANSWER: If your ceiling fan accepts universal light kits yes. Keep in mind, that you will need an add on remote or wall control system to operate the light independently from the ceiling fan.

Breathtaking
Everything was well packaged, but not labeled fragile. The delivery guy just dropped the box on the doorstep. Never rung the doorbell, but I heard a loud thump! Please mark Boxes fragile.

Worth the Extra Effort!
Beautiful. We were able to use this with a less expensive fan from Lamps Plus. This light does not have a chain, so you will need to purchase a remote. We were able to use it without a remote because our bedroom is wired with 2 switches. One for light, one for fan. We can't dim the light unless we install a dimmer, and we do have to pull the chain to change the speed still. Keep in mind that the lightbulbs provided are very bright and equal a lot of wattage. We had to purchase ones with lower wattage because it was exceeding the wattage our less expensive fan could handle. I didn't mind at all because the ones provided were too bright and made the space kinda hot.

All in all, it's a stunning piece, and worth the extra effort of making it work for us. It's in the master bedroom. I would love to get one for my living room.
