What is the maximum picture size for an 18 light?
A shopper on Mar 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This is ideal for pictures up to 48" wide.
Can this be attached to an unframed canvas?
A shopper on Nov 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would not recommended doing this. The wooden stretcher bars on most commercial canvases are made of very weak, light pine. The lamp housing is very heavy because it is filled with batteries from end to end. The weight of the batteries and their leverage at right angles to the paining could pull the screws out of the wood. If you wish an alternative, I'd recommend replacing the weak, pine stretcher bars with come substantial wood pieces like oak.
How many hour will the batteries last?
Nan M on Oct 11, 2017

How many lumens?
A shopper on Sep 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This picture light has a total output of 120 lumens.
Can this be use to light a picture from the bottom?
A shopper on Sep 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't see why not. As long as you have wall to attach the light to, (or you attach the light to the back of the picture frame). The light can be tilted several ways in order to put the illumination where you want it. The only issue I can think of is that the writing on the battery compartment as well as the actual LED lights would show unless the picture were hung high enough so you wouldn't be able to see that.
How blue is the light? Is it LED blue? At 3200k I'm concerned about this being too cool for my artwork. I don't want it to give a blue Igor cast to the portraits. Thoughts?
Rya D on Jul 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Rya Duncklee - At a color temperature of 3200K, this light is closer to warmer colors than cool. A blue tint usually appears in LED lighting at a cool color temperature of 5000K and more.

Barbara L on Jun 30, 2017

Almost perfect - but with a BIG FLAW!
I've had this light for just under a year now.

PROS: This light looks great! It shines beautifully on my artwork and was relatively easy to install.

CONS: It has ONE GIANT FLAW. The 8 "C" batteries last less than a week - usually about 5 days or so. I purchased rechargeable batteries because of this problem, so at least I'm not buying 32 batteries a month. However, the need to change them so often is a pain in the neck. Changing the batteries would not be a problem if it needed to be done every few months - but every week! It's a huge problem!!

FYI, Here is how often I use it: I turn the light on it's highest setting every evening and leave it on for 4-6 hours. I would prefer to leave it on longer, especially in the winter, but I've tried that and the batteries run out in a couple of days. This battery issue is a real problem.

I'm still in the market hoping to find a replacement which doesn't need such attention - It's a light after all and this is 2017!!

This was just what I was looking for. No wires running down the wall, no switch to try and find every time you want to turn it on. You can regulate the light with the remote switch. I will never go back to the electric one's again..

Perfect for what I needed
Would have given it 5 Stars if the remote dimmer had a couple of more clicks from bright to dim. Have to admit I’m extremely picky and would be 5 stars for anyone else.
