An open metal frame surrounds three double sheer drum shades in this modern geometric island pendant light design. An oil-rubbed bronze finish pairs beautifully with the brown and beige color in the shades. BEST ANSWER: You have to install yourself or hire someone. My daughter helped me install mine. Not too difficult, but definitely need 2 people. I love the light. It's over my rectangle dining table and is perfect and beautiful. If you use bright bulbs, the shades get lighter.

do the shades have a diffuser on the bottom, so you can't see the bulb while looking up into the fixture?

BEST ANSWER: I have this great light over my dining table. It doesn't have diffusers but the shades are so deep that we never see the bulbs. I use three 100 watt equivalent LEDs with a dimmer. The light pools over the table just right for a dinner party. Also have the matching square in my entry. One has to stand directly under it to see the bulb. We are very pleased with the look and the light.

BEST ANSWER: The shade is translucent. The amount of light is surprisingly good! I love these lights; I have the one-light (over the island) and three-light fixtures (over my table).

Good designs. Cheap quality that is visible to anyone.
The design is very good but the craftsmanship suggests that it is a cheap flea market purchase. All three lamp holders were welde at crooked angles. I had to have shims made so that the shades would hang straight. This is the second purchase from lamps plus with shoddy craftsmanship. I am fairly certain it is the last. If I could find this lamp somewhere else I would have gone there and returned this one.

Long time search and we both saw and agreed this was for us
Circles and squares, oil rubbed bronze, self-leveling, and interesting. Nice price a bonus as we were beginning not to care about that. We both saw and agreed and also because of the SINGLE VERSION that would be in the nearby entry. Love the light (using dimmable white-coated LED bulbs that amplify the interior and cast a glow for wine or cheese or higher for map-reading). Use a dimmer and you're all good. OK, swiffer on the rods and carefully around the organza mebbe every 4 weeks? Look, I have glass and understand that's every week, sad face about glass stuff. Happy face about this collection..

Love My Island Light!

Love this chandelier
I searched for a chandelier that came with enough cord and chain to accommodate 18 foot ceilings and decided on this one. It did not disappoint and looks better in person. Very satisfied with my purchase.

We opted to return this. While the shades look pleasantly golden in the pictures (all with lights turned on), they were an unattractive brown when unboxed. Also, it's very large. The lamp shades were more than twice as big than I anticipated. Unless you have a very large dining room, it's going to look out of place.
