I think this is a vintage appealing floor lamp. However I wish the small shade had an individual switch. If so I'd purchase immediately!

7 months, three lamps.
Pros:
It's a pretty lamp.
Good light, reading lamp is nice.
Good size.
Decent Price.
Got a Refund.
Final lamp was delivered next-day
Final lamp is everything it should be.
Packing was much more efficient on final lamp, smaller box, less wasted styrofoam.
Cons:
First one was crooked.
Took 5 months to get 1st replacement.
1st Replacement doesn't turn on, bad switch with possible contact issues.
After taking it back to the store for repair, the top light turned on but the reading lamp wouldn't.
The reading lamp joint is not as stiff as it should be, it slowly droops.
Store Associate said that "1 in 5" lamps end up being returned for quality issues.
After 12 hours, top light no longer lights up. Returned again.
Asked why we're not just getting an entirely different lamp: because we liked this one; it suits our house, while the others don’t.
Told "You get what you pay for" This lamp is almost $300. I expect to get a $300 lamp.
We asked the last replacement be shipped to the store to be assembled and tested before we pick it up.
Last replacement was not shipped to store as requested
It took an additional 3 months to get the final lamp.
Very Disappointing. Unlikely to shop here again. I gave it three stars because the last lamp is actually a nice lamp, if you're willing to put up with half a year of nonsense.

Very pretty lamp: Nice and bright, but a floppy hinge
I don't understand the previous review, as there is the capability to turn individual lights on/off. It's the same switch, so perhaps that's where the confusion lies. I just turn the switch a few times until the light comes on. It might take a few clicks. For example, one click is the top light, the next click could be the little one, and the third click is both. I love this lamp because it has the capability to handle a BRIGHT bulb. The top light can handle 150 Watts. I have a high ceiling, so this is helpful. Finally...it's very pretty!
The only downfall - the little light is Floppy. I"m not sure why, but the hinge doesn't keep it in the position pictured. It literally faced the floor. My husband had to rig something to prop it up. I actually just glanced at it now...it seems to be drooping again. I'll just wire it discretely.
