I can’t get the dome off. Why?
A shopper on Mar 25, 2020
BEST ANSWER: It’s been a while since I opened it. It might be that I pushed up a little as I twisted white cover counterclockwise - pushing gave me some grip. Also, make sure you wash hands and dry before you try for max dryness. Good luck

Can the fixture be used with a dimmer?
A shopper on Jan 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this design can be used with a wall dimmer.
is it a white light? or does it come out yellow?
A shopper on Sep 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's in between white and yellow. If it is the light that only has one bulb, then it's not very bright. I was using it in bathrooms but it's not bright enough so I can't use them.
Does this light plug in or is it hard wired?
Susan H on Aug 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hello - This ceiling light fixture is hard wired.
When turned on, can you see a brighter spot where the bulb is? If so, is the bulb off-center?
A shopper on Jul 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, though the glass diffuses the light well, and the type of bulb will have an impact on it also, you will have a brighter spot closer to the center of the light. The socket is offset making the bulb as centered as possible for the fixture. I'd recommend a soft white light bulb to limit and diffuse the hot spot even more.
How to replace ceiling light ?
A shopper on Jun 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Place your hand on the glass globe and turn the glass. the glass comes off and you can change the bulbs. Putting the glass back is just as easy.

Great value and great quality
I have this as a secondary overhead in a small bathroom that also has a 4-bulb wall fixture. With a 100 watt bulb, it gives enough light, but probably not enough for a primary fixture. The fixture is a great value, and while one reviewer said that the brushed metal was really plastic, mine is definitely metal, with a glass lens. The lens is easy to remove, which makes changing the bulb very simple. Highly recommended.

Pros: Attractive Design, Good Lighting Area, Easy to Change Bulb, Easy To Install

Best Uses: Ambiance, Hall Lighting

Clean, solid, easy to change bulb
I have 17 of these fixtures throughout my house in all the informal areas, laundry room, bathrooms, hallways, exercise room, mechanical room, TV room, walk in closets, stairways, and mud room.

The are clean and unobtrusive looking. They do not collect bugs. It is easy to change the bulb.

out with the old
My decorating project began with the thoughts of updating my home on a budget. This requires a process of how to successfully spend my money to achieve the best effect. I replaced my 30 yr old drum cieling fx in each bathroom with these "moon like" flush cieling mounts. What a difference! Lighting is fantastic, look sleek, clean, modern. Quality is excellent. I truly did my homework shopping locally and found selection boring and limited. And I did touch base with the on line tech advisors for advice. Oh yes, I am a planner.

Pros: Great Value, Great new look, Attractive Design, Easy To Assemble

Best Uses: Kitchen, Hallways

good buy
I love the price, easy installation, size, glass lens and 100 watt bulb.I wish it had a brushed steel metal frame rather than plastic-ish frame b/c it would coordinate better with the hardware on my pendant lights in the kitchen next to the hallway where it lives now. I noticed the frame looks gold in certain lights. It looks smaller than I imagined, but fits quietly in the space.FYI: The biggest challenge in choosing lights for a 464 sq. ft. loft with two ceiling heights is that many of the fixtures offered are too large, use acrylic rather than glass lenses and the color of the lens (frosted, opal, etched opal, frosted etched, marble) differ widely. Its also important to check for asymmetrical distances between the lights, which can be corrected with your choices in lighting. It took me 2 months to make my choices. I am happy with this choice and LampsPlus [...] selection.

Pros: Good Lighting Area, Attractive Design, Easy to Change Bulb

Cons: Looks gold sometimes, Casing isn't metal

Best Uses: Unobtrusive, Ambiance

Nice and Easy
I installed two of the ceiling lights, they are used for ambiant light, one in an open area, the other in a passage way. The nice thing about them is that they sit nice and flush to the ceiling and they are shallow in depth, plus they did not take long to install. As far as cons are concerned, there are none.

Pros: Attractive Design

Cons: None that I can think off

Great Flushmount Light
I purchased a couple of these lights as part of my home remodel project (contemporary design). I put one in the laundry room and one in the master bedroom closet. These lights are very good quality (metal/glass); no plastic parts like some lights that are in this price range at the home improvement stores. These lights give really good light and are highly recommended. Would also work well in a hallway.

Pros: Great PriceValue, Good Lighting Area, Convenient On/Off, Easy to Change Bulb, Attractive Design, Quality Mad

Best Uses: Primary Light Source, Laundry room, Closet, Hallway
