Not Reliably Dimmable!
I had my electrician install an array of 6 of these in can enclosures in my living room. We wanted these on a dimmer so we can adjust them down for movie nights. The box claims "Dimmable to 10 percent with standard LED dimmers". We had them on the Lutron Skylark Contour CL (CTCL-153P) dimmer from Lamps Plus and they seemed fine at first. But after about 30 minutes one light in the array started blinking when the dimmer was on max. Electrician was gone by then. Toggling the on/off just brought back the blinking but sometimes on a different light in the array. Dimming to 50% caused the lights to go stable on again. This is unexpected because most LED's struggle at the low side of the dimming range, not the high side. These were fine on the low range, even with the low range adjustment bottomed out.

I called Lutron and they say they've not tested this model of light so they can't recommend a dimmer. I investigated Nicor's documentation and found a specification sheet that specifically recommends 5 Lutron dimmers, not including the Skylark I was using. Texted my electrician and he recommended the Lutron Diva CL (DVCL-153P) dimmer. That was on Nicor's recommended list so I gave that a try. After swapping the dimmers, same behavior. The lights seem stable at max brightness for 30 minutes then one starts to blink like it's a dance party.

So far my only solution is to swap in a non-dimming switch. With this I get only max brightness or nothing but it's been stable for many hours each day for a couple of weeks.

Otherwise, the light is bright and the 3000K color temperature is as expected. Seems fine if you don't need dimming. Maybe a single unit would dim okay? I wouldn't trust it though. If you're going to use a Lutron dimmer, find a light that Lutron has tested.

Response from Lamps Plus
Hi Ryan S., we appreciate the review. Sorry to hear that you were unable to successfully dim your light because of these limitations with the suggested dimmers. Could you please reach out to our customer service team via phone, email, or chat so they can learn more about your setup and see if they can assist? Thank you.
