BEST ANSWER: For the chopper ,I myself had to look it up on my iPad it is a piece of metal that fits in the inside of the lamp

I am trying to replace a similar shade that has a spider with a 3 inch drop and the harp is almost 9 inches. The spider on this shade has a 2 inch drop. What size is the harp on this shade? Would a 10 inch spider be necessary on my lamp?
