Use this beautiful glass table lamp from the 360 Lighting brand anywhere you desire a stylish modern upgrade. The design uses blue glass art panels that are hand-assembled using the copper foil soldering technique. When tapped on, the glass produces a hollow, dull sound, because of the assembly method. Generally looks like picture. I do like the shape, size, & color for my bedroom dresser. Described as art glass. Details say glass and metal construction. Up close, in real life, this art glass is very disappointing as it looks, feels, and sounds (when tapped) very much like plastic. I would never have chosen this lamp if I had seen it in the store instead of online. Not worth 139.99.
Hi Linda - this design does have art glass panels, not plastic as you write. The glass is assembled using the copper foil soldering technique. This method holds the glass tightly together. When tapped, the panels create a hollow noise, which some people think means they are made of plastic. Rest assured, however, they are made of glass.
