Product Details

This specialty shade has an uno fitter with a 2" drop and is meant strictly for use with wall lamps using downbridge style fitters and sockets. The uno fitting on the shade fits onto a downward facing socket where the bulb is pointed down and not up. Mushroom pleated shade. Please note - this shade has an uno style fitter and is meant for use with specialty table and floor lamp designs that already use an uno shade.

I accidentally ordered the creme which I thought was the one I had previously ordered. I wanted the warmer color and didn't realize until I had already unwrapped and put the shade on and it is too white, so I am ordering this one since I think that it will be like the one I was replacing.

I have restored 3 antique wooden floor lamps, including the original uno fittings and so need uno style shades. Hopefully these will be adequate. An earlier review stated that these are not "uno" even though being described as such, so I will keep my fingers crossed until they arrive.

BEST ANSWER: Both the pleats and the liner are what I would call winter white - not blinding white but not creme.
Does this come plain white color? Don’t want cream.

BEST ANSWER: Uno is the type of fitting. The 2.5" drop means that the spider is 2.5" inches below the very top of the lampshade.
Is this really an "uno" shade, with the threaded center piece?

Perfect fit for my lamp
This shade is on a blacksmith-made gooseneck lamp. It's been years since it's had a shade that fits the bulb socket's threads. It's not my favorite style (this is the only one I could find - but I did find it!), It's certainly appropriate for the lamp's age and form.
