It might be hard to get the fixture to hang exactly as shown, but it's a fabulous light fixture, so it would probably look fine. No guarantees, but we love it. We have it mounted in the center of a cathedral ceiling, and it looks great.

I think so because since there is an abundance of the wiring which holds the fixture. It has to be cut to accommodate for your particular ceiling height..
I have an 18’ ceiling currently has a fixture hanging with a chain above a dinning table. I cannot reach the ceiling. Can fixture be hung / attached to the bottom of the existing chain?
According to the details, the chains are 10' long. We have a high ceiling that's sloped, so we had to pull up one of the wires into the LED driver box (can) before attaching to the ceiling, so the lamp would hang straight. Not hard to do. If you don't have such a high ceiling, just pull the wires up into the can.
There is an easy to use push pin system for adjusting the length through a very wide range, certainly long or short enough to accommodate any desired length.
I put two over my new island and they look stunning!! I have already had so many compliments! They are bright, but I had them put on a dimmer and they are gorgeous!

It really looks good over the dining room table. We have a slanted ceiling and it was no problem adjusting the wires so it hangs straight. Only issue is, we had to get a new wall switch as the old style dimmer doesn't work for the new LED lights. New dimmer works well on this light. Wish it was a little bigger, but the light output is fine.
I really love this fixture. The only downside that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that the LED lighting does not work with a dimmer switch. We had to have our electrician change out the dimmer switch for a regular one cuz the light flickered like a strobe on the dimmer. Otherwise, this light fixture is really fun, modern and beautiful.
Looks great but poor assembly directions, and although it says it works on a dimmer-it does not(it strobes on a dimmer). Too bright if not on a dimmer....returning it!
