Is there a trick to install round frosted cylinder and bulb. I purchased 3 of them and I cannot get my hand inside to attach globe or bulb?

Is the bottom of the lamp open or closed? The pictures doesn't show, although it looks like there might be a solid bronze plate covering the bottom. The porch light above my front door is about 15 feet above the ground, so hoping to avoid any lights that invite spiderwebs or require frequent cleaning/maintenance.

BEST ANSWER: Open at the bottom. I tried the bug resistant yellow lights.....didn’t work. Lots of bugs. But we get up there and clean....it’s a pain but love the light

Love this light!
I shopped around for a while and this light was the perfect solution for replacing our small, outdated, brass porch light. Very happy with the purchase. My husband said it was easy to install and is very well made.

Pros: Attractive Design

Cons: No installation directions.

Liked the lamp but installer dopped and lost screw
I like the lamp. The installor dropped and lost one of the mounting screws. He has never arranged for a replacement or contacted me since.
