This stylish, heavy-duty, single-arm arc floor lamp has an inviting warmth from both its rust metal finish and its inventive shade. Made of natural, compressed mica mineral, the translucent drum glows in a rich amber tone when the light is on. The sweeping, curved, adjustable arm lets you raise and lower the height.

How far does the ‘arc’ extend from the base?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - From the front of the base to the end of the shade measures 34". The overall depth measures 48".
Does light shine straight down from the bottom of the lamp? Is the bottom of the lamp open?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Wayne - yes, the bottom of the shade is open, there is no diffuser.
