From the Franklin Park collection of outdoor lighting, this handsome semi-flushmount ceiling light recalls the vintage-industrial ideal of the early 20th century. It comes in a steel constructed frame with a worn finish to make it look galvanized. This stylish fixture is inspired by industrial and farmhouse-barn light designs, and is perfect for use in covered porches and patios.

I like the look of galvanized metal and I have been looking for a couple of flush mount lights for a porch with a low ceiling. I like that the bulb is essentially protected by a cage. If an errant hand or head bumps it, it will hit the cage first. I am hoping this will protect the light.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, just be sure to use an outdoor and heat rated paint.
Is this fixture actually galvanized? Can it be used on the porch of a beach house?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - it is steel construction made to look galvanized for a distressed vintage style and can be used outside on covered porches. We also have a "marine grade" selection of lights for beach environments which I have added a link below.

will a 5.5 long LED bulb fit?

BEST ANSWER: The bulb would stick out of the bottom of the fixture since its only 4" from the screw-in socket to the end of the fixture.
my porch ceiling is slightly angled, can this be hung on a slightly angled ceiling?

BEST ANSWER: It can be hung on a slanted ceiling however, the fixture will not hang straight down. To hang straight on a sloped ceiling, I would suggest the pendant version of this fixture. Click on the image below for more details.

BEST ANSWER: The coordinating wall lights are available in 9" and 13" high. I have attached the links for reference.

BEST ANSWER: The fixture takes a standard base 60 watt bulb. Therefore, any standard base LED bulb will work with this fixture.

Great fixture, superior customer service
Amazing customer service. One arrived with a bent metal shade, so that cage over lamp bulb would not attach. Called Lamps Plus, sent a photo of damaged shade, company shipped an entire new fixture at no charge! Thank you!

great lamp for restaurant bathroom
We chose this for our rustic-theme restauarnt to go with the galvanized sink in the bathroom and it was PERFECT; casts a warm glow and adds to the overall decor. Easy to install. A little on the small size which worked for us but you might want to be aware if you're looking for a bigger lamp.

Just what I needed, looks great!
This Franklin Park 8 1/2 inch Wide Galvanized Outdoor Ceiling Light was for the hallway just off our new kitchen remodel. Although it's technically an outdoor light, it works perfectly for this purpose. I wanted an industrial look that worked for a taller ceiling. This fit the bill. (And budget!)

Not True Galvanized Steel
Was very disappointed in the finish. It claims to be galvanized steel but it’s not. It looks like a matt finish that someone tried to antique with dark stain for a galvanized look. Five stars for quality of the product, packaging, quick shipping, ease of return and a very friendly customer service. Just wish it was what it is advertised to be.
