I recently went to change the batteries and now I cannot get the remote to turn on the lights. Any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong???

How do you change the the batteries?

BEST ANSWER: The piece at the back comes out and you can replace the battery from there it takes 3 aa batteries
Does the remote only turn on both at the same time or can you turn them on separately?

BEST ANSWER: Yes it turns on both at the same time. It is a lovely light works well, you can also press the face of the light and it turns on, if you only want one on.
