BEST ANSWER: This bulb measures 3 3/4" high x 2" wide.
Why does my small brass lamp get hot when I use a new GE 15 watt bulb?

BEST ANSWER: This is an incandescent light bulb and may get warm due to the heat it emits. But, if your lamp can use LED bulbs, I would recommend using those if heat is an issue for you .
