First I need to admit that I am technologically and electronically impaired! (Ask me something artistic! 🙃 ) Does the built in "LED" mean that when that goes dead, so is the lamp and you can't replace anything? Is it supposed to last definitely??? Replacing a "part" would be a nightmare ( worse if my husband tried 😱 ) and what is the cost?
Not only a piano lamp, of course, but excellent for this purpose. Looked at more traditional swing-arm lamps, but they really didn't extend enough over the keyboard. This has hardly a traditional look, but is pretty inconspicuous. The dimmer is great, and the lamp section swivels to illuminate both keyboard and/or music desk. The black finish goes perfectly with an ebony piano finish, of course.

I bought this lamp to go alongside a chair in my bedroom where I do most of my computer work. I could not be happier with the sleek design and the LED illumination, which I find ideal for focused task lighting. This is not for lighting up an entire room, rather best suited for lighting an area for reading or working. The design is minimalist in approach, and even the dimmer and on/off is done by touching the lamp, no extra switches. I really like how you can adjust the arm. Great lamp!

After a horrible experience with Amazon, I was very pleased to purchase this from Lamps Plus online. Conveniently shipped to me and easy to set up. This is not my only ZBar lamp, but my first floor model. I use them in my studio for natural and controllable lighting. It also helps that they are stylish and energy saving. Well worth the price.
