BEST ANSWER: The bath lights built-in LEDs are non-interchangeable.
Is the chrome shiny or more like brushed nickel?

Would this fixture be fine to hang vertically as well? Would 2 of these hung as sconces put out enough light for applying makeup at vanity area hung vertically?

BEST ANSWER: Per the manufacturer, this bath light is only recommended to be mounted as shown. But, I do not see why not. Each fixture has a light output comparable to a 75 watt incandescent bulb (150 watts combined).

Too bright
I installed this in my bathroom and it is so bright I can't even look at it. Also, it casts a shadow downward so it's not the best light for applying makeup. It is very pretty though
