Lighting has never been more beautiful than with this table lamp set. These urn-shaped table lamps come in a wonderful polished chrome finish and have sparkling faceted glass crystal accents decorating the body. Topped with a white drum shade, each lamp provides an elegant and sophisticate style. An on/off rotary switch and a clear silver cord is built into the design.

What is an on off rotary switch?

Is there any assembly required for these lamps? If so, can you explain?

BEST ANSWER: The only assembly required will be attaching the lamp shades.
I like the look of these lamps, do you think they are suitable for a living room or more suitable for a bedroom?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - these will work well in either room. One consideration to keep in mind for bedroom use is the size of your bedside tables. If they are on the small side, or if you use them for displaying other items, you might want to consider a wall mounted swing arm lamp that would leave the tabletop area clear.
