I have a double frame. Can I just lay the back on top of the smallest part of the frame which is 1 1/2" wide? Will it tip over? Are the batteries at the back end
A shopper on Aug 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We would recommend screwing the fixture into the wall. The batteries go in the back. You can pull the light off of the screws easily when you need to replace the batteries.
Do you have any with remote controls or motion control? Also, are there other colors? I want to highlight a collection of 6 frameless wildlife paintings and want to alight them all together. Also, a softer earthtone shell would fit the scene perfectly. Thank You!

Portrait lights
Excellent lights. What I had to do; not because of the lights but because of my brick walls, was install them directly on to the frames. They look great! I forgot and left the battery powered lights on one evening. All I can say; stock up on batteries or buy the best brand of battery out there.

What a difference a little light makes!
I love the effect this light gives my pictures. The only drawback is that the battery drains quickly and the light dims.

Pros: Attractive Design, Great Value, Easy To Install, Quality Construction

Cons: Poor Illumination

These lights were exactly what I needed for my art show. I believe I sold more artwork thanks to them. Super easy to install, great price, and Miriam in customer service went above and beyond to accommodate my purchase in a timely fashion. Definitely a 5 star purchase for me.

Product does not match description
first, the light is two toned. The curved pole itself is in a gold finish while the base and the lighting are a doll copperish plastic. I have perfect vision and I was unable to detect this from the photographs lamps plus features of the item. Nowhere in the description does it say that the lamp is part plastic, nor does it say that it is too toned, but as you can see from the photograph it is both of these things. Save your money and your time and your effort. I will be returning mine when I can. It's just a shame, now I will have to wait another 2 to 3 weeks to get the right one at double the cost. Although I am scared to order from lamps plus again
you can clearly see the different colors and materials not stated in the description of the item
It looks like something out of a dollar store. Not something you would buy at lamps plus the $30

Cost to much for plastic
Very cheaply made. Mostly plastic. Something you would buy at the dollar store. But it does look well from a distance.
