From Possini Euro Design, this metal torchiere floor lamp comes in a black finish for a handsome effect, with brushed nickel finish accents that provide a beautiful contrast. A white glass uplight shade on top adds an elegant touch to this Mid-Century Modern floor lamp. The most notable design feature is the adjustable side lights, attached the main frame by gooseneck arms. When used with the provided energy-efficient LED bulbs, it provides wonderful illumination for your living space.

Do the gooseneck lights just turn off and on or do they have a high and low since it says it’s a three-way?

BEST ANSWER: Just on and off. It’s one on, the other off; the one off, the other on; both on or both off. This lamp comes with bulbs for the goose neck lights and they are not three-way.
Top light no longer works. Have had lamp since mid-February 2020 without problems. Checked lightbulb on another lamp. OK. Unpluged and repluged and made no difference. Bottom goosenecks lights work. What do I do now?

Can you tell me if the ‘gooseneck;’ lamps on the side of the Hawthorne torchiere are flexible: do they twist or bend to point in different directions?

Exactly what I needed
I bought this lamp for my living room and it is perfect for lighting up a large space with a vaulted ceiling. The side lights add additional light to specific places. I will definitely order from Lamps Plus again. My only issue with this lamp is the directions were great for assembly but said nothing about operation. You wouldn't think that would be necessary, but when I plugged it in and only the side lamps worked, I was confused. Once I realized the cord had an in-line switch, the top light worked perfectly. But I forgot to mention how the light know came off in my hand when I first tried to turn the light on. I figured out that it is attached to the inner knob by a tiny screw on the side of the knob. A few turns with a small screwdriver and it stayed in place. Come to find out that that top light is also dimmable. Didn't notice that in the description, but it is an extra perk. After all this, I am pleased with my purchase. I just recommended this site and even this lamp to a friend who just bought a house.
