This outdoor lighting base offers a classic look for walkways, garage areas, driveways and more. The decorative base features fluted segments and a black iron finish. This is a surface mount base; base mounts onto concrete or other surface. Top light is not included.

Old pole rusted off and part is still in the cement and cannot be removed The new pole will bolt into the cement and should work fine. also liked the design.

Can the post be lowered...eliminating the top segment of the post? I tried screwing the top lamp connection to the top of the 3rd post segment but the threads will not screw together. Are these two pieces supposed to be able to be screwed together?

It's not a commercial fixture, but durable enough for residential.
We have two installed in our backyard, and love them!

I have a three light top with an five sided bottom. Will this work on the Hepworth post? The top is made by Wiexing and is ten years old.

BEST ANSWER: The post has a 3" inch fitting. If the light you have fits on a 3" inch fitting it will be okay to use with this post.
can I buy the top section of the pole with photo cell hole in it or do I have to drill it ?

Looks Great!
Installed on front lawn. Dug 8" dia. X 28" deep hole with 12" sq X 7" deep top pad and 3 bags of cement. Comes with 3 "L" threaded anchor rods that attach to metal template. Strapped 3/4 pvc with large radius elbow to center of cement frame then poured cement. Sunk hold down assembly in wet cement which resulted in perfect location of the 3 base studs. Went with 24 watt AC low voltage system, transformer and 50 watt bulb. Did not install Photo/cell shutoff because transformer runs 24/7 anyway. 50 watt bulb last a long time when left on, no cold then hot cycles. Inserted wire in lawn about 6" deep. Drilled 3/8 dia. hole through brick mortar joint and foundation header. Plug transformer into outlet in basement. Couple of hours to install.
