What type of shade attachment does this lamp have?

BEST ANSWER: A Spider Attachment: A spider fitter rests on a threaded assembly (all included) on the top of a lamp and the lamp shade is secured with a finial. You do not have to remove the shade to change the bulb, and the space is large enough to accommodate the new bulbs. Love the look and weight of the lamp.

Beautiful finish and love the swing arm
It is a beautiful finish and accommodates the new bulbs with ease of changing the bulb without removing shade. Shade is cream and goes really well with the dark antique bronze finish. It is heavy enough not to tip over even when the arm is extended. Great value, attractive, and functional. I would recommend this swingarm floor lamp.
