gorgeous lamp; choose metal shade
I bought this lamp 10 years ago, so I paid considerably less, even though at the time I thought over $400 was a high price. Nonetheless, I lived in a small townhouse and wanted something small and classy. It fit the bill. I am now trying to replace the glass alabaster shade which emits too much light. It needs a metal shade and I don't see any way to fix the problem. I still love the lamp, though.
