I love my lamp! I have low vision in my right eye so I need a very bright light to read by. This lamp is the only one to accomplish that level of illumination and more. And its full dimmer down to a very low level allows me to use it for ambient light as well. The dimmer switch is very responsive and precise and the heavy base makes it a very solid lamp for both my nightstand and my office desk.

This lamp ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

It's quality is fantastic. Very solid construction, made in Germany -- consider it a BMW or Mercedes of lamps. Some lamps look nice but turn out flimsy -- this one will last forever.

Quality of light is also very very good. Just one lamp will easily light up the whole room with a bright, warm light. Or you can dim it down to just the level desired.

We bought one, liked it so much we got a 2nd!
