Design flaw
This is a lovely, but expensive fixture. There is a design flaw: The bottom glass can very easily slip and fall to the ground when inserting it or removing it. This is because there are no guide channels or other supports for the glass on the side edges. I and my contractor have both broken the glass because of this. Also, the glass is very expensive to replace. It came to $264.96 when ordered from Hubbardton Forge through Lamps Plus. So BE VERY CAREFULL!!
