BEST ANSWER: No. It is shaped to fit on an incandescent bulb, roundish. I dont think it would work on the new led spirals either
what is distance between top of shade and top of clip?

BEST ANSWER: The top of the clip is even with the top of the shade; it is attached to a wire that goes right across the top of the shade--but isn't noticeable. The light bulb is about 5/8 to 3/4 of an inch below the top of the clip.
I am trying to find a replacement shade for a lamp that is Uno style. Will the clip on shade work instead on my lamp?

BEST ANSWER: Depending on your current shade size, a clip-on shade may not work. I have added a link below to our available UNO shades but you may also convert your lamp to hold a lamp harp and spider shade. Lamp conversion kits are available at your local hardware store.
