Why can't a 100-watt equivalent LED bulb be used, since it only draws 15 watts of electricity? The answer you gave to one of the questions in the ad does not seem right.
Keith B on Feb 16, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Generally manufacturers will only recommend using an LED bulb equivalent to the floor lamps socket maximum rating (60 watts). But using a 15 watt LED bulb which is below the 60 watt maximum will work as well.
Is the shade held in place by the bulb?

BEST ANSWER: This floor lamp measures 52.25" from the floor to the bottom of the glass shade.
Can a 100 watt equivalent LED bulb be used?
Dave B on Nov 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes 100 watt LED uses around 17 watts which is well under this lamps 60 watt maximum. With a clear (smoked) shade you will loose the street light look because 17 watt LED will be very bright.
how does this lamp turn on an off?
A shopper on Jul 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Per the manufacturer, this floor lamp includes a rotary on/off switch located just above the glass shade.

Nice lamp
This is a nice lamp...it is just what I was looking for.
I use it for a reading lamp, although I did have to put a brighter bulb in for easier reading. But all in all a very nice lamp.

Could be better - my observations
Bought 2. One had a broken lamp socket. 1.The bulb that comes with the lamp is not dim-able because it already is very dim. 2. The base is nice and heavy (metal over sand filled plastic)..3. You may have to mess with the pole to get it to stand straight.4. I would love to have seen the light switch on the pole so you may have to stand to switch it off or on.
I do like the street light look I just hope to make the adjustment so I can be happy we bought them.
