This will be going into an entryway with a 15 foot ceiling height....will the scale be right?
A shopper on Dec 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi - for that height of a ceiling, this would be a nice option. This also includes 6 feet of chain which will provide you plenty of length to move the chandelier up or down as needed. Please also feel free to contact one of our knowledgeable Lighting and Home Décor Specialists who can provide you with some fantastic advice on chandelier sizing. I have also added some helpful links below.
I love this lamp for my 2 story entryway (20 ft ceiling), but I'm concerned that with the shades pointing up, I won't get enough light in the lower part of the space. Wondering if my fear is warranted or I'm being silly?
Joanne K on Jun 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mine was installed on a beam in my living room which has a high sloped ceiling. I used LED lamps the equivalent of 60 light bulbs and also have the chandelier on a dimmer. With the dimmer at full brightness the chandelier throws off more than enough light and we have to dim it. Having a white or light color ceiling also helps reflect light downward. My wife and I are very happy with the chandelier and also had the four lamp version installed in our dining room.
I am expecting this piece today. Will this be too big for a standard 2 story entryway? It is 6 inches wider than my current one (its probably about 34", but feel like my current one could be bigger. A little nervous that I should have bought the 34" instead of the 39"
Cathy P on Oct 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you feel that the chandelier you currently have could be larger then the 6 inch difference should be fine. When selecting a fixture for the center area of a room, you want to add the dimensions of the room to come up with the width. For example 25 feet + 15 feet = 40 feet and therefore a fixture that is 40 inches wide. Of course, keeping the height of a ceiling into consideration is important as well. This is an absolutely stunning fixture and customers are always so pleased! Also, keep in mind that the current trend is moving toward larger fixtures!
The answers don't come close to addressiing my question. The chandelier will hang from a 20 foot ceiling. A ten foot chain will be required. Will the chandelier sway with air movement?
A shopper on Jul 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It would require very substantial air flow to move this fixture once installed. Under any normal interior conditions, air will not cause this fixture to move.

Of course, locating the fixture directly in the path of a large fan, strong breezeway or exhaust path could cause minor movement.

Couldn't be happier!!!
This chandelier is gorgeous! At 47-1/2" high x 39" wide, it's big enough to be a statement piece without being gaudy. I love the 'idea' of a crystal chandelier, but the reality is that I don't have a home that it would look right in. THIS chandelier though has just the right amount of glitz and sparkle without looking out of place. It's really beautiful!

My concern when I was looking at this fixture was that it's hanging from a 20ft ceiling and the shades point UP. Even with 16 bulbs, I worried that the foyer would not get enough usable light on the first floor. I asked the question, here on this page, and I was lucky enough to have another customer who had purchased this light reply. He said it gave off plenty of light, and he was right! It makes my foyer so nice and bright! I have a dimmer and usually keep it low, but I love how great the entryway looks when it's on full brightness.

Lastly, when I was trying to decide whether to buy this fixture, I REALLY wished there had been a picture from the BOTTOM. After all, let's be honest, with a 2-story foyer, that's a pretty prominent viewing angle. So I've posted one from that angle. You're welcome :) If you're on the fence about this one, take my advice and GO FOR IT! You will NOT be disappointed!
Stand back and evaluate the shades while someone else straightens them out. Mine need
My electricians wore cotton gloves while handling the crystals. Worth it!

We love our chandeliers from Lamps Plus. The bigger one was delivered to the wrong address but the representative that helped us was very friendly and calming and we had our chandelier a few days later.
