BEST ANSWER: Not sure what you mean by bottom piece. The light is mounted horizontally on the wall. There is a mounting piece that is used to hold the light in place against the wall. When mounted, there is not a piece that would serve as a diffuser for the light on the bottom.
can i adjust the direction of the bulbs to allow more light?

BEST ANSWER: The shade is actually two pieces. The inner fabric shade and the decorative jeweled outer layer. Both of these pieces ‘hang’ off the main fixture that is screwed to the wall. Very secure and clean attachment. Beautiful fixture!
Can you take the shade out? Or does the shade seem to dim the lights too much?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Leicha - That depends on what light bulbs you use with this light! Try getting light bulbs with a higher lumen light output in order to get more light.

This particular light takes three light bulbs with a maximum wattage of 60 watts.
Do the crystal pieces come off for cleaning?

BEST ANSWER: Hmm ... good question. Let me respond in terms of the way it's hung horizontally, and you can translate for your needs. The bottom has a tinted glass piece that you can either include or not. We chose not to, to allow more light. If you include the glass top, you would not see the light bulbs; if you don't use the glass piece, you would see the lightbulbs.

Nice appearance...
but 3 60 watt candelabra lights do not provide enough light. Tried 80 watt rated LEDs, still not enough. Ordered 3 bright 100 watt rated LEDs. Did the trick. Shade and translucent bottom filters out a lot of light. Attractive.

Gorgeous fixture!

Better than expected!
I love the antique finish so that you can mix this with multiple metals. We used this in a bathroom where the hardware is chrome but the floors and shower tile are browns, beige, whites and it worked perfectly! It definitely is unique and not your typical bathroom vanity light. It has just the right amount of glam for a guest bathroom!

Elegant!
Got this for the guest bath. It's not very bright, but the light is diffused beautifully. Adds a touch of bling without being overstated. The crystals are very pretty. Uncomplicated installation. Uses 3 candelabra bulbs, thus the low lighting.

Understated Elegance - Beautiful fixture!
This fixture is absolutely stunning in our powder room. Beautiful styling and and a perfect match to Delta’s Champagne Bronze plumbing fixtures. Highly recommend this for consideration but supplemental lighting may be needed if using in an area where ample light is needed to get ready. I used three 40 watt incandescent bulbs and the light is perfect for my needs. Check the specs for maximum wattage. LEDs or a higher wattage incandescent may provide sufficient output for areas requiring more light.

Hi - that is a good tip about using LED bulbs if you want more light. LEDs will output far more light, or lumens, for the same amount of watts used. This design is rated for maximum 60 watt bulbs, so don't exceed that no matter what type bulbs you use. Thanks again and enjoy your new fixture!

Lovely and well-made
Easy to install and assemble. My only criticism. Is that with three small chandelier bulbs (60 w) and the gold fabric shade, it does not provide very bright lighting for a bathroom.
