BEST ANSWER: This ceiling light can be dimmed when paired with dimmable light bulbs and the proper dimmer.

terrible
Product arrived in flimsy and inadequate packaging, and the item was broken and scratched up. It appears to have been an item that was previously returned, as the foam around the fixture was broken up into pieces. I returned the item one week ago, and have heard nothing from Lamps Plus since. Bad experience overall.
