Can this be used without the lens?

BEST ANSWER: The glass lens is permanently hinged on one side and attached to the other side during installation, so the light cannot be used without it.
Can it be hung from a sloped ceiling?

Kichler Olde Bronze 12" Pendant light
The lighting isn't over the top and gives just the right amount of light over our island counter. It blends well with any kitchen and doesn't overwhelm the space. Excellant!
