BEST ANSWER: The finish on this ceiling light is antique pewter. But, depending on your viewing angle it may appear to have a slight beige tone.

How would you compare the pewter finish to brushed nickel? Also, is the organza shade a true white, or more of a creamy white?

BEST ANSWER: Generally pewter tends to be a little darker in color than brushed nickel. The organza shade is more of an off-white color than a pure/bright white.
What is the trim on the edges of the organza outer shade made of? What color is the trim?

Is the light bright enough for a 15x20 sized family room?

BEST ANSWER: Hi - one general rule of thumb is to add those number together and then convert those to inches. This will be your estimated width of your desired fixture. Other factors to consider is the placement of the fixture in the room and the height of your ceiling.
Can this fixture be used in a bathroom?

BEST ANSWER: This design is not specifically rated for damp locations. However, if the area is well ventilated with no buildup of steam or condensation, and if it is not installed over tubs or adjacent to showers where it can get wet, it should be fine.

Beautiful
I just love this light. I bought two and they are perfect in my family room. Not much of the top area is exposed but the rest of the light is elegant and rich in appearance. Wonderful purchase.

Looks Good and Does Not Install Well
Looks great and whom every wrote the install instruction is a nasty individual. If you are not very experienced with installing fixtures - run away. I have installed lighting fixtures in my home, children's homes and grandchildren homes; this is the first 30 minute install that took 3 hours and personal products to make it work. Looks good and installs hard.
