Light the night, but not the night sky, with this Dark Sky regulation approved wall light. A bent arm extends the light housing away from the wall and directs light downward. Rated for full cut-off, the design features a warm hammered aspen bronze finish.
I had to purchase 6 of these 8.5 inch fixtures. The 8.5 inch are the perfect size; I'm glad I didn't go the 12 inch ones. 5 were used on the upper story balcony/walkway, and on all of those I used the 60 watt chrome tipped 15A appliance bulbs. Those bulbs really add to the appeal and you don't get blinded looking at the light fixture. The old light fixtures didn't give off much light even though the wattage was the same. I never used them-they were a joke. Now, these Minka Kirkhams accent the area below and illuminates the area very nicely. Highly recommended!

I love the look on my house and it's just enough light without being too bright and obnoxious! The size worked very well for the spaces that I needed light. So far they've been great!

I purchased 7 of these for our vacation home in the mountains. After 14 years, they still work great. The finish had weathered off, so I just re-painted them and they look like new. Just ordered 3 more for an addition to our house!

I initially purchased one 8 1/2" model and one 11" model. I installed the smaller one above a people door and the larger one above a garage door. I had 3 other garage doors and two other people door that needed matching fixtures so I bought one of each of these to make sure that the quality and appearance were what I needed. The light exceeded my expectations so I bought the remainder of what I needed.

We love this light fixture! We used it to light a walkway at the back corner of our house and it is perfect! It is a wonderful looking fixture day or night. We chose to use a clear bulb because the height and location we chose for the fixture allows the bulb to be seen. Using a clear, fairly short, fan light bulb was an attractive solution to the "visible light bulb" situation. We would purchase this fixture again in a heart beat, and only wish we had done it sooner. What were we waiting for?

We are trying to find a post eye to install so it will turn on by itself at night, but we are having a hard time finding one that is small enough. Minka doesn't sell one on their website and neither does Lamps Plus.
