What does the piece attached to the ceiling look like? What is the diameter of it? Also will it hang properly on a vaulted ceiling?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it would hang properly from a vaulted ceiling. The piece that is attached to the ceiling is circular, 6 inches in diameter and 1inch deep. It easily covers the hole and looks good.
This pendant has a diffuser and throws off a beautiful quality of light.
We are very happy with it and it was easy to install.
Is this really 21 inches high?

BEST ANSWER: The cross-hatch sides are only about 10 inches high; but if you add in the 11 inch stem that hangs from the ceiling, you do get an additional length ( height?) totalling 21 inches, plus the fixture also includes additional chain length.
The diameter of the drum itself is about 20 and 1/4 inches wide.
I would love this for my kitchen nook. What would you suggest to coordinate in a formal dining room that's adjacent to the nook?

Is your diffuser even all the way around? Ours has a 1/4 inch gap on one side and is touching the shade on the opposite side.

BEST ANSWER: The diffuser is about even. There is a very slight difference around the edge, but certainly not as much as 1/4 inch, perhap it is about 1/8 of an inch. It is not noticeable.
When the light is off, does this shade look more oatmeal or white? How about when it's on?

BEST ANSWER: When the light is off, the shade looks more white than oatmeal. Not a cool bright white, but definitely a warm white, rather than oatmeal.
Is the bronze finish brown or black?

Love this Lighting!
This is perfect for above the dining room table. We installed a dimmer switch and have used all levels of lights for various functions. I absolutely love it and would buy it again!

Love this light!
I looked for a long time to find just the right lighting to hang over the kitchen table. This one has a good transitional look and it puts out great light with 4 bulbs. I don't like the look of a chandelier hanging from a chain, so we moved the bar all the way up to the ceiling with only one link showing. Looks great with 8ft ceilings! If you are pondering this light-buy it! Great style and well made. The folks at Lamps Plus were very helpful and always so polite. Thank you Lamps Plus for another great product.

Nice but for the price
Great packaging easy to install looks smart and contemporary but the frame is a little warped most people would not notice this and the metal is really a dark bronze color not black which I liked but the picture makes it look black

Love this Light!
We needed a pendant light for our vaulted ceiling entryway. This one fit perfectly. It gives off plenty of light, so much so, we installed a dimmer switch and are very happy to be able to adjust how bright we want it. People comment on how great it looks. We couldn't be happier. It was a breeze to install. LampsPlus was great to work with once again.

Beautiful, classy, light fixture
This is a good looking pendant light with a cool industrial look, I did spray paint it a satin black to match my near by kitchen light. Only problem I noticed was the center support was a little off plumb so I had to straighten it. Just like a lamp shade that needs straightened, slowly and carefully pull the center support from the top while supporting the wire cage.
