I like Hector

I was wary of buying a torchiere without actually seeing it first, but very happy with the product. The base is heavy, so it’s very stable. The three separate rods threaded perfectly, so it doesn’t look crooked. And the dimmer switch is in a convenient spot. It’s not as flashy as the 10 year old Spanish halogen lamp it replaced, but the light quality is excellent and it’s a very good value. I also like the way the entire top part angles, so you can really customize what part of the space you want illuminated.
