From Lite Source, this energy-efficient torchiere features a black finish and works well in either a modern or transitional space. Made of metal construction throughout, it also features a metal shade atop a slim pole with a dimmer switch to easily adjust the lamp's brightness. This lamp uses an LED that can be replaced.

How long does the LED light last? Can it be changed if it burns out?

BEST ANSWER: This floor lamp includes one replaceable 40 watt GU10 LED bulb.
Is there a delay when it is turned on with a wall switch? Also, does it remember its dimmer setting when turned off/on with a wall switch?

BEST ANSWER: There is no delay when you turn on the floor lamp from a wall switch.
Can it be used with a switchable wall socket or smart plug? (i.e. if it loses power does it turn on when power is restored?)

BEST ANSWER: This floor lamp is designed to be controlled by the dimmer switch located on the pole. But, you may use your on/off switch or smart plug (on/off) as well to turn it on and off.
Can you set the dimmer so that it retains the state of dimming when you cut the lamp off and cut it on again?

BEST ANSWER: No, you turn the switch to your desired lighting and turn it down and off when done.
