Frederick Cooper Lighting - An American Original
The legacy began in Chicago in 1923 at the hands of a sculptor and painter who was inspired by the recent invention of the electric lamp. Frederick Cooper began experimenting in this new genre mixing together media such as brass, wood, glass and exotic fabrics.
The legacy grew into a brand name that stands for superb traditional design and fine craftsmanship. Frederick Cooper table lamps and floor lamps offer strong traditional elements refreshed by a contemporary eye. Name designers - Joann Barwick, Mario Buatta, Alexander Julian, John Mascheroni and Larry Laslo, to name a few - create new, stunning looks in lighting, continuing the tradition started by Frederick Cooper himself almost a century ago.
