Does anyone have an image of the cord exiting the glass base of the lamp? There does not seem to be any clear images available of the base of the lamp or the rear where the cord is located.

Hi. Lamps plus sent me this question because I purchased these lamps about 2 years ago. There is no way for me to upload a photo to send you but I can tell you that the hole is at the base of the lamp about a quarter inch from the bottom. It's not noticeable because its turned to the back the only thing you can see is the cord on the inside of the lamp. They are absolutely beautiful!!! I get many compliments on them. Because they are clear it compliments the room and blends in with the wall color that's in back of it. I hope this helps.
I have this lamp. The cord exits through a small hole just above the bottom of the base. The hole is covered by a small piece is clear rubber. I would send a photo but there is no way to attach one to this message.

No, the lamp is open at the bottom and it not a container for anything. I have it on a table that is in front of a window and I love how the clear glass still allows sunlight through.
I wanted a clear, simple lamp. This one fits the bill. As a bonus, its hollow interior allows one to put a vase, shells or anything that would fit into that area. I added a narrow Christmas arrangement just for the holidays and had friends ask where I bought the lamp, they liked it so well.
I was looking for a plain, clear glass lamp ("fillable" or not) that was tall - around 30" - and cylindrical or tapered, at a price I was willing to pay. Similar lamps to this one on other websites were consistently $250 - $400 and I have no idea on what the price-justification was based. The shipping was free, quick, and the lamp was well-packed. I was also impressed with the quality of the shade, because so often they are poor quality and don't look exactly like the photos online (this is not my first online lamp purchase.) Perfectly satisfied.
Beautiful, stylish lamp. I would have liked it to be able to accommodate a three way bulb but am very happy with it anyway. Looks much more expensive than it is.
