How does this hang from the ceiling, do you have to find a stud in your roof first?

Very pleased customer!
Love this light potrack combo/ I hung it over a barnwood island and it looks great. The installation was very easy. I put 4 LED lights in it and the lightening it gives off is amazing. I would highly recommend this high quality fixture.

Several Design Problems
First Design Problem, the light shades are too deep for the included tool to screw in the socket nut.

Then they should include a tool to screw in the bulb, because the shade is also too long to screw in a light.

Second Design problem, the S hook for the pots and pans is too big for the hole in all of the handles of my pans. I have 3 different pan manufacturers and all have holes too small for this flat hook, making it fairly useless.
