BEST ANSWER: This floor lamp includes a cord and plug. We currently do not offer battery operated floor lamps.
Is this a touch lamp?

BEST ANSWER: No. There is a knob on the pole just above the part that looks like wood. It is a dimmable.

Perfect!
This is one of the nicest floor lamps I have had. Well made, love the different colors in the shade with the switch on the pole and dimmable light is so nice. Highly recommend!

Nice lamp but terrible quality shade
The lamp shade looks like it was put together in a grade school arts and crafts class. The “mica’ is cheap plastic panels that are cut uneven and then stuck in with the hooks on the back of a picture frame. One panel it is so uneven it doesn’t even properly cover the front. Perhaps wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t a reading lamp - where you sit below it and have to look at the terrible construction. Couldn’t the company have spend the extra $1 to put some type of cover over the raw cut and paste job on the shade? And for the price - no way!

Great ambiance
Fits perfectly with our sitting room/ family room. Gotta love dimmers. Adjust to ambiance you want. Lovely feel.
Also like we can easily wipe it down...no dust saturation.
